DO you have narcissistic tendencies or an oral fixation? Do you focus more on celebs -- or on yourself?
You might have thought a tweet was just a tweet -- but a new site called TweetPsych (tweetpsych.com) is analyzing what your Twitter feed reveals about your personality.
The service builds psychological profiles by analyzing users' Twitter updates (using confusing techy things called linguistic analysis algorithms). The result displays attributes on which a person has scored higher than the average -- ranking characteristics and topics such as self-reference, positive emotions, work and religion.
It's easy to use: Just plug in a Twitter name (i.e., kirstiealley) It works best for users who have 1,000 or more tweets. In Alley's case, she talks about the future often and about herself a lot.
